Comments
We collect data shown in the comments form, the commenter’s IP address, and browser user agent to assist spam detection. An anonymized string from your email (hash) may be sent to Gravatar to check for a profile. After comment approval, your profile picture is public.

- Comments: Opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last one year.
- Login Page: We set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies, which is discarded upon closing your browser.
- Logins: Cookies save your login info and screen choices for two days to a year, extending to two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected. Logging out removes these cookies.
- Editing/Publishing: A cookie indicating the post ID of your edited article is saved for one day.
